We would love to have you join us for our school year programs and/or our summer program. Although Kaleidoscope’s programs are free, you still need to register.
You can register your child(ren) by clicking on the Registration Forms below and printing them out, or by calling (612) 871-9268 and requesting a registration form.
Children may register for one or all of the programs; however, space is limited. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
We do have very limited transportation available for families living in the immediate Phillips Neighborhood. For our after school programs we provide transportation home in the afternoon. For our summer program we provide transportation in the morning and afternoon. To qualify you must live within the following boundaries: South of Franklin Avenue, East of 35W, North of Lake Street, and West of Cedar Avenue. Since transportation is very limited we strongly recommend carpooling with other families in our program. If you are accepted into one of our programs, contact the office and we will try and connect you with some transportation options.
The 2009-2010 After School programs run from September 14th, 2009 through May 21st, 2010. Registration is currently OPEN. Our Programs tab provides more information about our school year programs. Contact Maria Cooper at (612) 871-9268 if you have any questions.
Our 2010 Summer Kids program registration is now OPEN. Registration will begin on Monday, April 12th at 12:00pm. The 2010 Summer Kids is an eight week program which runs from June 21st through August 12th . Our Programs tab provides more information about our summer program. Thank you for choosing Kaleidoscope Place’s programs for your child(ren). The registration form below allows you to register for our Summer Kids program. We have made some changes to our registration process. Please read the following information carefully. Once you have completed all required documents, you may mail, fax, or drop them off at our office. Our fax number is (612) 871-0173. Your registration is not considered complete until we have received all completed, required documents. Once your child(ren) has been accepted into our program, we will notify you with a Welcome Letter along with a program calendar and our Behavior Expectations Guidelines.
The minimum cost for each child will be $100. ***
- Please complete all sections of pages 1-7.
- Student ID numbers must be completed on page 1 of the registration packet. If you do not know your child(ren)’s student ID number, please contact their school to obtain it.
- If you are not eligible for a scholarship, we must receive at least half of your payment with your registration form. The remaining amount, if you didn’t pay the full amount, is due on Friday, June 18th.
- You must complete the school-day teacher assessment form. Please give this to your child(ren)’s classroom teacher and have them complete all sections.
- For returning families, you must complete the Kaleidoscope Place Returning Parent-Caregiver Survey and return it with pages 1-7 of your registration packet.

Below you will find the program description, job descriptions, and job application for our Urban Garden Youth Employment program. Please read carefully and make sure all materials are filled out completely before returning them to Kaleidoscope Place.
There are also some Team Facilitator and Coordinator positions available in the Urban Garden Program.
