Everyone knows what a joy it is to give gifts to friends and family. It is a meaningful way of conveying your love and care for someone. This year, consider expressing that love by providing for the everyday needs of our Kaleidoscope children. With the abundance of material possessions in our lives, investing in the needs of children can be a heartfelt way of expressing your love and care for someone special in your life. It is a gift given in the spirit of giving that will last throughout the year.
We all have beautiful memories of loved ones who are with us and no longer with us. This Greeting Card Catalog is a special way to send a gift in honor and memory of loved ones. You simply select your gift from our Program Needs list and a wonderful holiday card designed by a Kaleidoscope child will be mailed directly to the gift recipient or sent to you to personalize. Inside the card will be an insert describing the gift that you gave. Here are some examples of the Holiday Cards.
Kaleidoscope Place is a free after-school and summer program created in 1971 by Messiah and Our Savior’s Lutheran churches. It serves children and families from diverse economic, racial and cultural backgrounds who live in the Phillips neighborhood of south Minneapolis. Our mission is: to provide a creative, educational, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow in character and community. Kaleidoscope offers a variety of after-school and summer programs for age groups ranging from High Five (pre-kindergarten) through twelfth grade.
