At Kaleidoscope Place our mission is to provide a creative, educational, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow in character and community for success in a changing world. We offer after school and summer youth development programs for children in grades Kindergarten-12th. Kaleidoscope Place is an authorized Area Learning Center through Minneapolis Public Schools. Our After School Kids program runs during the school year for students in grades K-8th. Our Summer Kids program runs for 8 weeks during the summer for students going into grades 1st-8th. Both programs are highly affordable for our families. Our Youth Employment programs run during the summer months for youth ages 12-21. Youth Employment
Youth Employment is a program operating in the summer for middle and high school students. We provide job opportunities for up to 35 youth in an environment they can be proud of. The employed youth gain valuable job skills as teacher’s assistants, office assistants, and summer community gardeners, all while earning money. They are role models for the younger children in our programs, and their presence is essential to the continuation of our mission.
