Highlights from our 2008-2009 School Year
and Summer Programs
October 2008: Families Together - Arts and Crafts Night
Our Families Together events are always a hit with free dinner and a fun activity for the whole family. Here are some photos from our Arts and Crafts night where we painted pictures, made kites, and cut out and decorated leaves.

December 2008: Fall Birthday Party!
Can you say, “Excited!” Every quarter we have a Big Birthday Party Celebration where we celebrate 3 months of birthdays. We always try to find an awesome volunteer group to supply the cupcakes and ice cream. We are so grateful for their giving hearts. Needless to say, the kids (and staff and volunteers) loved it!

March 2009: Families Together - Black History Play
Our annual Black History Play is one of our best attended events all year. The parents, families, and relatives are always anxious to see their children performing at this significant event. It is a lot of work, but it is worth every second. The kids always bring their heart and their personality to their performance, and they have a big impact on everyone watching.

March 2009: Kaleidoscope Place Offical Open House in their new location
at the Center for Changing Lives
What an exciting event - moving into a new building and new space after 39 years! We had so much fun “showing off” our new space. Thank you so much to all of the families, partners, and supporters who came out to celebrate with us. We are truly blessed with such a fantastic community of support and our new incredible space.
